Every once in a while, if you are lucky, you meet a person who literally lights up a room. Jasna Burza is one of those people and then some! Her smile, contagiously positive energy, and kind and generous spirit make Jasna a magnet for those wanting to infuse their lives with more hope and light. We are grateful to spotlight one of our very first ModernWell members, Jasna Burza!
Jasna is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina and came to Minnesota after the war of the 1990s caused her and her family to flee their country. She graduated from the University of Saint Benedict and has lived in Minneapolis ever since! The Minneapolis community has become home as it runs parallel with Jasna values of good health and healthy living.
Jasna has been through some tough situations throughout her life, but even in the toughest of times, Jasna believes in the light. The adversity she has faced sets the blueprint for her philosophy today. Her hopeful mindset leads her to believe that no matter how dark it seems, she, you, and I are always exactly where we are supposed to be.
Jasna has now been working as a life coach for over 10 years. Jasna made the switch from being a life coach to a business coach about 5 years ago after discovering that many of her friends and colleagues wanted the secret to starting and maintaining a successful business. She now works individually with entrepreneurs to help grow their business to become profitable.
In addition to her one-on-one work, she leads Twin Cities Up-Level Together Mastermind, Minnesota’s first and largest Mastermind for female entrepreneurs. Twin Cities Up-Level Together Mastermind now has over 150 graduates! This mastermind is the ultimate experience for anyone needing support, accountability, and guidance. She’s inspired so many women to take control of their business and transform their dreams into realities.
Most recently, Jasna invested in Aging but Dangerous, which is a fantastic resource for women 50+ to continue to find fun and adventurous activities. More info coming on that soon!
Jasna considers herself the messenger of hope and the bearer of good news. She believes that everyone can make their own life. In her free time, she loves strengthening her spirituality and connecting with nature. Jasna describes herself as a “literal tree hugger.” She is also a mother and is very family-oriented, practices prayer and meditation, and takes pride in leading a very simple, yet very fulfilled life.
