About Rachel: Rachel Berg Scherer is a writer, editor, and teacher from the Minneapolis area. She spent years as a communications professional, writing everywhere from Capitol Hill in Washington, DC to an order of nuns in Baltimore. Rachel finally followed in the footsteps of both her parents and became a high school English teacher. Rachel founded Midwest Writing and Editing after her first child was born, melding decades of unique writing and teaching experiences into a single business. She is so thrilled to share those experiences with the ModernWell community.
